Georgia Moloney is a multidisciplinary artist living and creating in Naarm / Melbourne. As a photographer, she specialises in live music, burlesque and portraiture. She currently holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from the National Art School, and a Diploma of Photo Imaging from Billy Blue.
As an artist, her materially-driven practice combines photography, printmaking and textiles in varying ways with the goal of bringing digital photographs into the physical space. She utilises these tactile processes to alter and recontextualise images outside of a screen, autonomizing these otherwise digital files and allowing them to exist independently of technology.
